PostSubject: Echo1 MP5 Problems. Looking for solutions   Wed Jul 11, 2007 1:46 am

Well the largest problem is that the safety does not work at all. I can put it into safe and pull the trigger and it bumps to semi auto. This is not good at all... The other problems are more annoyance, like after using full auto a bb will roll out and the next shot will not be there. The only other problem is that it feels like I have to pull the trigger really hard to get it to fire, but I did not notice this when skirmishing.

Don't get me wrong, I love my echo1 and would not trade it for anything, I am just wondering if anyone got any of these problems fixed.

As a side note, I was reading the engrish that I got in the manual and found it to be a marui manual with marui removed from MOST places. Also the maintenance appears to require me to kill secretaries.

At any rate, if anyone can provide any answers as to how to fix my few problems, I would be more than grateful. If this gun serves me well, I will consider upgrading it to a metal body.

thanks

I have an Echo 1 MP-5 and I have not had any of those problems exept the safety, and on mine it takes 4-5 times for it to move to semi auto.

Well do you have to pull the trigger all the way back for it to fire? I am thinking that maybe something moved a little in the trigger housing. I really do not want to have to tear the entire thing down to find out.

Edit: Well I am going out to play tomorrow, so I will see how it works.
